We didn’t know how long they had been waiting but they knew the routine. The women were in I think 6 lines; some had babies on their backs…some old…most in their 20s and 30s. Then the men. There were only a few lines of them. Then there were the children.They were the ones who didn’t have parents. Some were as young as 3. I spent most of my time with them.
